£130,000 cannabis haul - four arrested

FOUR people were arrested yesterday after about £130,000

worth of cannabis resin was found in a car on its way into

Plymouth.

Three of those arrested – including a teenager – are at

Charles Cross police station and the other has been charged

this morning.

The car was stopped by police just before 3am on Tuesday as

it travelled along the A38 at Marsh Mills.

Police said that about £130,000 worth of 'what is thought to

be cannabis resin' was found in the vehicle.

Police also confirmed that two vehicles were seized as part

of the operation and four properties have been searched since

the incident.

Four people were arrested yesterday for drugs offences. A

37-year-old man, 21-year-old woman and 14 year-old boy have all

been released on bail until October 14. They will return to

Charles Cross.

A 35 year-old woman was this morning charged with supplying

cannabis.

All are local to Plymouth.
