17-year-old charged in connection with armed robbery
A 17 year old has been charged with robbery and remanded in custody to appear magistrates after an armed robbery.
A 16-year old youth was released on police bail until 11th October pending further enquiries in connection with the same incident.

The incident occurred at around 6.30pm on Monday at Dial Motors in Station Road, Buckfastleigh.
Two men entered the premises armed with a knife and an iron bar and threatened the assistant with violence before stealing a quantity of cash from the till.

They then made off running in the direction of the railway station.
Following a search of the area two suspects aged 17 and 16 years were arrested.
The female assistant was not injured as a result of the incident but was naturally very shaken.
Police would like to hear from any witnesses who were in the area at the time or from anyone who has any information regarding it and ask that they contact police on 101 quoting police reference JA/12/830.
