A38 closed after three-car crash near Plymouth

The A38 has been closed in the Glyn Valley following a three vehicle collision near Halfway House.

The incident happened at around 12.40 p.m. on Friday 9 November 2012 and at least one person has been injured.

The Air Ambulance has attended and the road closed to protect those working at the scene, including the fire service who are cutting one man from the wreckage.

There are traffic restrictions from Cardinham and Dobwalls.

    “It is time there were some traffic calming on this road as drivers completely ignor the speed limit. I use the road reguarly hold my breath as i enter it & breath a sigh of relief when im through it. Lorries & vans especially speed along it.What about those cameras that work out the average speed?”
