EACH Monday between now and the end of the season Herald Sport will give YOU the fans the chance to have your say on Argyle.

Manager John Sheridan has threatened to make changes to his team after the bitterly disappointing 1-0 defeat by Oxford United at Home Park on Saturday.

He said: "I will have to look at it. There are one or two players who want to be in the team and think they should be in the team, so I might make changes."

Who would you like to see called up for Argyle's trip to Northampton Town this coming weekend? How about Andres Gurrieri, Paul Wotton or Luke Young? Or someone else?

“Couldn't agree more with queenie 1923 bring back Akos while he's a free agent, even if it's only till the end of the season, still what's the point I doubt whether the management or the board even read these comments.”

    “@ Queenie,
Akos.. oh my god you do all want us to play in the Conference next year. He is Rubbish, infact he was in my Taxi this weekend, I started to make some comment's about the Plymouth players and you could see he was about to cry, I was going to carry on but some large lady in the rear of the car was chatting so much about stuff (football) that just stood out she did not know anything, I just laughed at them all when they went into the dairy. Silly people.”

    “@ Chapman 300,
No I would just LOVE to see PAFC do well, but the truth is the whole Team and Management needs to go, if you disagree then that is fine you crack on and watch Plymouth play in the Conference next year. It is A true fact”

“Each week we are being given the opportunity to make our opinions public. Er, um, don't the comments on regular football articles stand for anything? This is just an extra that holds no weight. Are we supposed to think that comments on particular articles mean nothing unless we repeat them on Mondays? Ho, hum, space fillers.”

“Our centre midfield is so weak I dont think we can afford the luxury of playing with 2 wingers, who are also light weight. On Saturday, however, the wingers were by and large being by passed as the ball was continually pumped up to the central attackers, ony for the Oxford defenders win the ball almost every time. I cannot for the life of me see why Hourinane is selected ahead of Gurieri let alone that he is captain! Too many of our players are of the same slender build and we need bigger stronger players particularly in the middle of the park, eg. Wotton and Lowry, where game after game we are overrun and it is like men against boys. Also disappointed with JS's substitutions or lack of them on Saturday!”

“The worst thing about the Oxford game was the clear lack of effort by many of the players, in terms of not closing down the opposition, not offering an option to teammates and the general lazy passing. If we are going to go down, we must go down with a fight and some shred of dignity. Give Gurrieri, Young, Harvey and Wotton a starting place, at least you know they will give their all to the cause.

Furthermore, get the armband off Hourihane and place it firmly in Wotton's hand. At least he leads by example and won't accept the drivel of Saturday. Sadly Hourihane's 'pass it backwards' style breeds negative play.”

“Wotton sitting in front of the back four was highly successful at Aldershot and I'm certain that will help us this Saturday as Northampton's attacks are going to come at us thick and fast and he will help break them up. Also I think the right side needs tampering.. Berry and PCH are both good players but have been almost ineffective in the last 3/4 games. Berry's a very good RB so it's surprising he's been off form and PCH struggles to make up his mind on whether to pull back, go past his man or cross it.”

“Unfortunately, as i see it, it is a catch 22 situation. The fans expectations put a terrific amount of pressure on the team, but the team are unable to cope with the pressure put on them by the fans, which causes the fans to put MORE pressure on the players! Tough one but all that is really missing is some CONFIDENCE! How they get that? That is the toughest question!”

“Lets all stop kidding ourselves here, the plain fact is the players here now and those that were here before Sheridans arrival are clearly not good enough to play in this league. Some time ago someone posted that it would not be a bad thing for the club to drop out of the football league, have a good clear out and start again,I rubbished the suggestion at the time but now I think its going to be our only option.
The team is the worst I have seen wearing the green shirt in over 60 years of supporting them, sadly I paid up front for my ticket otherwise I would not waste my time attending any more of this third rate entertainment,I will not make the same mistake next season whatever league we are in.
Absolute rubbish, Disgusted and embarrassed customer.”

“Sadly I think we have run out of options. Yes lets give Gurrieri and Young another chance but we have used both before and they have not produced the goods. As regards up front who else is there - OK you could try Harvey but it is a very big ask to bring a youngster like that into a struggling team and expect him to produce the goods. What I think is interesting is that when you watch our pre match warm up the last part of which is to get the strikers ( I use the term loosely) to try shooting from about 10 yards out most of them miss the target and if you cant score then what chance in the actual game!!! It does not hurt to shuffle the pack but we have no Aces up our sleeves. Good luck Mr Sheridan - the only hope is to try and get a new loanee who is a proven goal scorer.”
