“As I've said before, anyone who thinks Plymouth can win this needs to take off their rose-tinted glasses...........the only 'culture' you'll see in Plymouth is litter, graffiti, litter, chavs, litter, spongers and more litter than you can shake a stick at. It's a dump. Wise up people.”

“I don't think culture is top priority for councillors of any party, I can't remembert the last time the Lord Mayor attended a concert by the Plymouth Symphony Orchestra who's members work hard without payment to put on exciting concerts at the Guildhall despite the punitive charge for the use of the Guildhall by the council.”
