Man reported for careless driving after A38 crash
A MAN from Tamerton Foliot been reported for careless driving after a collision on the A38 near Ivybridge.
Police said the collision between a silver Peugeot Partner and a blue Porsche Boxster convertible occurred on the eastbound stretch of the A38 between Ivybridge and South Brent shortly after 8.10am.

Accident slows traffic this morning on A38 near Plymouth
One of the vehicles was left facing the wrong way round on the hard shoulder while the other was left up the side of the bank.
The vehicles were coned off and staff from the Highways Agency were in attendance along with paramedics from the South Western Ambulance Service.

As a result of the incident police confirmed that a 22-year-old man from Tamerton Foliot was reported for careless driving. He will appear before magistrates at a later date. The Peugeot he was driving is understood to have suffered front end damage.
The driver and passenger of the Porsche, a couple from Torquay, received no serious injuries, although paramedics treated the male driver for back pain. It is believed the Porsche suffered “substantial damage” as a result of the collision.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to contact them on 101 quoting police log number 86 of 2/1/13.
