Age Concern craft event
ARTY over 55 year olds are being sought by Plymouth Age Concern to take part in this year's Annual Skilled Hands Art and Craft Exhibition.
To be held at a new venue this year, Elspeth Sitters House Centre on the Barbican, the event offers local groups and individuals the chance to be awarded for their skill and achievement.
Needlecrafts, photography, beadwork and mosaics are among the many art and craft classes to choose from and exhibitors my, if they wish, incorporate this year's theme 'Carnival' in their work.
Disability and difficulty are taken into account by the judges and all entries receive a certificate.
Apart from displays of work, visitors to the exhibition will also have the opportunity to watch craft demonstrations, win a prize in the Friends Instant Raffle and enjoy home-made snacks and refreshments.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 10.30am - 4pm on Wednesday 16, Thursday 17 and Friday 18, June, and 10.30am - 3pm on Saturday, June 19. Admission is just £1.
