ONE of the city's best-loved bands, Albenaza, will be reuniting for a one-off show at Thirst tonight.

Al, Ben and Aza haven't played together for quite a while as they've been busy working elsewhere.

Al has been recording his latest EP at David Gray's studio in London and Aza has immersed himself in the Bristol scene since relocating there earlier this year. Meanwhile Ben has had a very successful year with his promotions company, a major highlight of 2012 being the production of the first Electric Beach Festival in Cornwall with De La Soul.

"We all happen to be in Plymouth at the same time for Christmas," says Ben, "so we thought it was a good opportunity to rally the troops and have a good old shindig!"
