Albion confirm Jarvis signing
PLYMOUTH Albion have today officially announced the signing
of England Counties star Tom Jarvis.
The 23-year-old winger/full-back arrives at Albion from
National League Division Two side Stourbridge.
He has previously played for Lydney and has earned
representative honours for England Counties, England Students,
Great Britain Universities and Gloucestershire.
Jarvis, who started his career at Gloucester's Academy, has
just returned from a two-week tour to North America with the
England Counties squad.
He scored two tries in their final match against a Canada
Select XV last Friday.
Jarvis is the seventh arrival at Brickfields this summer
following in the footsteps of Ryan Hopkins, Wayne Sprangle,
James Tideswell, Geoff Griffith, Danny Thomas and Mark Lee.
Albion’s chairman of rugby Graham Dawe said:
"We came across Tom a couple of years ago when he was playing
for Lydney and we have kept tracks on him.
"He has had a good season with Stourbridge
and we hope he can further his career."
