Alec Robertson removed as leader of Cornwall County Council by vote of no confidence
Alec Robertson has been voted out as leader of Cornwall Couty Council in an extraordinary meeting this morning.
A vote to get rid of Alec Robertson as Leader of Cornwall Council saw 63 vote for and 49 against the motion.
A secret ballot was held after the vote of no confidence was proposed.
The move comes after Cornwall's proposed partnership with private companies who would run a number of key services in the county.
