Appeal for witnesses after fatal crash on A38 in Plymouth

Police have made a fresh appeal for witnesses after the fatal road traffic collision on Tuesday, January 22 on the A38 in Plymouth.

The collision just before 6am near Marsh Mills involved a red Ford Fiesta and a dark coloured Toyota Avensis.

Sergeant Jane Corkhill from the Plymouth serious collisions investigation unit said: “We would like to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision that morning.

“We are particularly interested in speaking with drivers that were travelling in the opposite direction on the westbound carriageway between Forder Valley and Manadon who witnessed the collision.”
