KATE NICHOLLS hit a hat-rick as Marine eased into round two with a deserved 4-1 victory at South West Women's League Eastern division side Poole Town.
Marine were always in control of the match with 'keeper Laura McGuire rarely threatened.
MAP created good chances with lively forwards Georgie Talbot and Kate Nicholls causing problems for the Poole backline.
On 20 minutes the deadlock was broken as Talbot crossed for Nicholls to fire across the 'keeper.
Despite creating a series of chances and striking the woodwork three times MAP could not secure the second goal to finish the match off.
With 20 minutes to go a serious injury to the Poole centre forward resulted in a 15 minute stoppage. On the restart MAP were caught cold as Poole equalised.
But Marine struck back within two minutes as a Sam Drewery corner was headed home by Nicholls, who completed her hat-trick after outpacing the defence to round the 'keeper and slot into the empty net.
On the stroke of half-time Talbot made it four, slotting home past the on-rushing 'keeper to complete the scoring and secureMAP's place in round two.
However, Callington Town won't be joining Marine in the next round.
They suffered a 4-0 home defeat at the hands of Swindon Supermarine.
