Plymouth Argyle face new battle to stay up
MANAGER Carl Fletcher has admitted Argyle are facing another fight against relegation as they enter 2013.
The 20th-placed Pilgrims have won only five of their 25 games in League Two this season.

The 1-0 defeat by Wycombe Wanderers at Home Park on Saturday was their 11th of the campaign.
It leaves them five points clear of the relegation zone, but Argyle have played a couple of more matches than the bottom two of Bristol Rovers and AFC Wimbledon.

The Pilgrims narrowly avoided dropping out of the Football League last term and another struggle for survival is on the cards.
Asked whether Argyle were in a relegation battle, Fletcher (pictured top) replied: "Yes, definitely, as it stands.
"With our performances we shouldn't be anywhere near where we are, but you have to deal with the situation thrown at you.
"It's obviously disappointing not to get the result today because we have been on a good run. We will just get on with it."
Wycombe's winning goal came from striker Matt McClure as early as the 11th minute.
Fletcher said: "I think we dominated 90 per cent of the game. They (Wycombe) had one chance and scored."

“The time for ranting has passed, Peter Reid was vilified by the club for similar results under far worse circumstances. There is only one course of action, before it is too late.”

“90% of the game !!! and again we scored ..... 0 , nil , zilch, so .. just where are the problems then ?
My opinion ......
Chadwick .... ability to play the last 20/15 minutes on a level with others who have played the whole game ... Away to exeter he was brought on for that end period , sadly he played well and got to start the last 2 home games
Griffiths .......... what a goal scoring record at lower level football , sadly not allowed to shoot in green ..... always laying the ball off , left /right , i cant remember seeing him shoot from around the box .
Feeney ............ for ever running up front but for what ? maybe should be in midfield ?
Oh silly me that means im changing the game plan ............WHAT GAME *&%£"£ PLAN !!!!!
And that to me is the biggest concerns overall .... we start with a game plan , and thats it , no ability on the bench in management to change things , any subs are like for like , forward off forward on , winger off winger on .
We could get a forward on loan ..... AND NOT USE HIM
So to conclude my rant i can see where the issues are ( i admit i failed my maths A level, 35 years ago !!) but its clear that the mathamatics answer themselves , 90% - 0 goals , 25 shots on goal -1goal 24 shots -0 goals ..... = lack of ability up front , up front, oh and the management .
Bring on the D.O.F ..... Director Of Football
May i take this opportunity to wish all green supporters a prosperious new year and heres looking forward to new forwards and a manager that can manage .
It cant get any worse ..... can it ?”
