Armed with weapons of sound!
THE children at Tregadillett School enjoyed a fantastic day with members of the world-renowned junk percussion group Weapons of Sound.
The Plymouth-based musicians use only recycled materials for their instruments and have played at Buckingham Palace and at the opening ceremony for the Commonwealth Games.

At the end of the day all of the children were keen to take part in a whole school performance, which parents thought was brilliant.
The event provided inspiration for the school: staff plan to build their own music garden in the school grounds, using recycled material such as drainpipes and large plastic containers so the children can continue to develop their music talents outdoors.
