BBC star opens £6.2m care home in Plymouth
A PIONEERING £6.2m care home for people living with dementia has been opened by BBC broadcaster Angela Rippon.
Waypoints Care Group say the home in Ernesettle is only the second of its kind in the country and was placed in Plymouth because of the city's forward thinking approach to developing health and social care for people with dementia. Current estimations suggest 3,100 people living in Plymouth have dementia.
