Exeter's new John Lewis store evacuated after flood on opening day
Exeter's new John Lewis store has reportedly flooded on its first official opening day.
The lower ground floor was evacuated due to a flood from burst pipe at 1.15pm today.
Reader Kris Frank sent in this picture of the technology department which was cleared first.
Reporter Rich Booth is live at the scene and said the top floor and lower ground floor were both currently out of action to customers.

At this stage it is not known how much damage the flooding has caused to the new five-floor superstore.
It comes just hours after the store officially opened this morning.
Around 200 people stormed the entrance as the ribbon was cut and the doors swung open at 9am.
Throughout the day, shoppers have poured into the store desperate to get their first glimpse of Exeter's newest and biggest store.
Despite the burst pipe and subsequent flooding, the remainder of the store remains open to the public.
Richard reported through his Twitter account @rich_booth: "Ground floor now open again. Part of technology section still cornered off."
Shopper who were caught up in the drama started posting news of the incident on Twitter:
Max Rawlings @maxirawlings123 tweeted: So the john lewis restraunt is now closed because there is no water, that's because its all coming from the roof downstairs!!!
Im not unique, ok Im not unique, ok @_BenFellows reported: I'm in john lewis and the roof has just decided to explode with water, omg I'm going to die

Josh Luxon Josh Luxon @JoshLuxon said: The John Lewis restaurant is shut because there's no water.. that's because its all pouring out of the ceiling downstairs.

“You see, there's the problem, CharlieBob. You don't come here to participate in discussions. You're just looking for "fights". And that's what makes you such a troll.
By the way, an insult isn't an answer. Try using a straight 'yes' or 'no' for once.”

“You seem to have forgotten the bit where you accused me of mental deficiency, CharlieBob. Yes, I did flag that one up to the site admins.”

“..9Ab said- 'Have no idea what your comment was about in response to mine as i only caught the first few words before i was out the door and off to work'..
As I recall mate, I was just wondering why any businessman would want to start up in Exeter when it's only half the size of Plymouth and therefore has only half the customers?”

“CharlieBob
Have no idea what your comment was about in response to mine as i only caught the first few words before i was out the door and off to work.
As it has now disappeared i can only assume it was either offensive, derogatory or an attempt,as others have already stated,to provoke.
Whatever the reason it looks like youv'e wasted your time.”

“Stalking, CharlieBob, because lately so seem to pop up on pretty much any post I've commented on, for the sole purpose to trying to restart old arguments even when you plainly have nothing to say about the original topic of the post. So yes, I'd call that stalking. Now grow up, you're pathetic.”

“How many more times are you going to pull that one out of your obsessive little library of every discussion board you've ever infested, troll? Nevertheless, I think everyone but you can see the point I was actually making, so no further comment is needed.”

“I don't see the attraction. I went around the JL at Cribbs Causeway and was impressed only by the cheek of their price labels.”
