Biker killed in A38 crash named as Terry Bettison, 72, from Liskeard
A biker killed in a six-vehicle crash on the A38 in South East Cornwall has been named as 72-year-old Terry Bettison from Liskeard.
Emergency services were called to the Halfway House Inn at Two Waters Foot at around 2.20pm on September 6 after a lorry and a motorbike collided.

Mr Bettison had been travelling east towards Liskeard when he came into collision with a car and a heavy goods vehicle which were travelling in the opposite direction.
Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The A38 was closed in both directions between Dobwalls and Carminow Cross most of Thursday afternoon and evening.
Traffic officers were clearing the scene until midnight and the road was reopened around 6am the next morning.
Police would like to appeal for witnesses to this incident – either the incident itself or to any details immediately before the incident took place – to contact them on 101 and quote log 396 of 6 September 2012.
