Bin fire spreads in factory
THREE Plymouth fire crews battled thick smoke to tackle a blaze in a factory.
Firefighters from Camels Head went to the Hellermann Tyton factory in Pennycross after a fire alarm went off 9.42pm on Friday.

Firefighter Paul Partridge said: "There was a fire in a bin inside the factory, and the building was heavily smoke-logged. We used six breathing apparatus."
A second engine was dispatched from Camels Head, followed by a third engine, from Crownhill.

The fire involved a wheelie waste bin in the factory and had spread to a desk.
Mr Partridge said smoke was being dispersed with high pressure fans.
The cause of the fire is not thought to be suspicious.
