Bird identity is black and white issue
REGARDING your article in The Herald (February 11) about a brown crow spotted at Pennycomequick, I couldn't resist sending you a photo that I took in our back garden of a blackbird we named Chalkie.
He has been a regular visitor for the past two winters, feeding on his favourite food, grapes, but sadly Chalkie has disappeared and we can only hope he might return one day.
