A MAN has admitted a £2,000 blackmail.

Nicholas Housden, aged 22, pleaded guilty to demanding money with menace from a man.

He admitted trying to force his victim to hand over £2,000 in the city on November 2 last year.

At Plymouth Crown Court, Judge Paul Darlow agreed to postpone sentence so a probation officer can prepare a report into Housden's background. Housden, of Coleford in Gloucestershire, was released on conditional bail until January 4 next year. He must not contact prosecution witnesses.
