Boxing Day assaults case man to face judge

A MAN accused of assaulting four people on Boxing Day last year has been sent to face a judge.

Daniel Hutchinson appeared before Plymouth magistrates charged with assaulting a man, causing him actual bodily harm.

The 25-year-old also allegedly assaulted a second man by beating him.

Hutchinson, of Wordsworth Road in North Prospect, is finally accused of two further common assaults.

They are said to be on a teenage boy and a teenage girl.

Hutchinson has previously indicated 'no plea' to the offences.

But his solicitor, Jane Wills, told the bench yesterday that Hutchinson would be denying the charges once he goes before a judge.

Hutchinson was released on unconditional bail to appear in the dock at Plymouth Crown Court on Monday, October 1.
