Brass band's Christmas concert

A BRASS band has enlisted the help of a local celebrity for its latest festive celebration.

City-born broadcaster Angela Rippon will host the Stannary Brass Band's annual Christmas concert next month.

The show will take place on Saturday, December 15, at St Eustachius Church in Tavistock, commencing at 7.30pm.

Ladies' choir Vocal Harem will also be performing on the night, while the Lions Club of Tavistock are providing refreshments. A retiring collection will benefit the Tavistock Stroke Club and the Church.
