Brazen thieves steal and torch BMWs from house in Liskeard
THIEVES destroyed two BMWs stolen in a brazen raid on a house in Liskeard.
The thieves got into the house in Trevanion Road through the front door on Sunday night.

They stole the keys to two BMWs parked outside – and then locked the front door of the house from the outside before making their escape.
One of the stolen cars, a silver BMW 318i, was later found on fire in a field beside the A390 at Fairy Cross, Lostwithiel.

The vehicle, which was completely destroyed, appears to have been crashed off the road and police believe the occupants may have been injured.
The other car, a green BMW 745i, was found on fire at 5.15am near to garages in Lanchard Road, Liskeard. Three men were seen removing the wheels from the car before it was destroyed.
Police are linking damage to four other vehicles in a series of attacks on the same night with the BMW thefts.
In one attack a garage was entered and a Honda Accord damaged.
A black VW Golf and a blue Vauxhall Astra were also attacked and damaged.
Police believe the series of offences are also linked to the theft of a moped in Higher Lux Street, Liskeard, on the same night. It was found damaged around 800 metres away from where it was stolen.
