Broken traffic lights replaced at busy Plymouth junction
TRAFFIC lights have returned to one of the main routes in the city.
Malfunctioning signals had been removed from the Mannamead Road and Compton Park Road junction but have now been replaced.
The lights were switched off on October 19 due to an electrical fault and were due to be repaired before Christmas.
However, work to replace them had to be delayed following December's extreme weather, but the covers were removed this week on a new set.

“These are not the most major lights on that stretch of road, with common sense being used by most drivers there have been no problems here, tbh i dont see why there needed again!!!”

Hmm, 11 weeks to do the job, some fast workers in the highways dept watchman team..;)
Hopefully they'll replace the "Pedestrian Zone/Residential Access Only" signs" on the Stokes Lane/Citadel Rd East area, they were told they were missing 6 months ago but nothings been done and the narrow cobbled streets are being used as a rat run.”
