Buoys and their toys
THOUSANDS of people enjoyed messing about in boats at the sixth Plymouth Sail and Power Show.
The weekend event at Queen Anne's Battery featured powerboat displays, Jet Ski stunts, canoe building, music and competitions.

Chris Price, marina manager and event organiser, said around 2,500 turned up despite chilly weather.
He said: "It's been a fantastic show and very well supported.
"The weather was a little bit on the cool side but all the events went ahead as planned and the jazz music from the jazz festival was a great backdrop to the event."
As well as stands displaying wares form top boat builders from around the country, there was a wealth of family entertainment.
Members of the RNLI Plymouth Lifeboat station team attended, as did experts from marine organisation Maritime Plymouth.
Entertainment included displays from the Thundercat Racing UK team as well as impressive tricks from the Freestyle Asylum team, featuring some of the UK's top Jet Ski riders.
Coinciding with the start of the Plymouth Summer Festival and the Barbican International Jazz and Blues Festival, several acts performing at the Plymouth Sail and Power Show.
They included guitarist Tom Anfield, swing band The Jaspers and the Metropolis String Quartet.
Amongst the exhibitors were Princess Motor Yacht Sales, Cornwall-based sail boat builder Cornish Crabbers, Ancasta Plymouth and Maritimo (UK) Ltd.
