Burglar jailed for 30 months
A MAN who admitted stealing more than £1,000 during a burglary has been jailed for 30 months.
At a previous hearing Lee Evans, aged 30, admitted entering the address at St Margaret's Court in Plympton as a trespasser on July 9.
He pleaded guilty to taking electrical items and bank cards worth £1,390 and was sentenced earlier this week at Plymouth Crown Court.
Evans, of Federation Road, Laira, admitted fraud in attempting to use a bank card as his own to make a gain for himself the same day.

He asked for five other offences to be taken into consideration.
A probation report had been ordered by Judge Paul Darlow at a previous hearing to determine how Evans had fared under a court order to treat his drug habit.
He was handed 30 months for the burglary, six months concurrent for the fraud, and a further 30 months to run concurrent of a number of other matters to be taken into consideration, minus 23 days already spent in custody.
