Burglary warning after theft from house in Plymouth
POLICE are warning residents to keep opportunist burglars at bay by not leaving windows and doors unlocked.
The common-sense warning comes following a burglary at an address in Edith Avenue, St Jude's sometime between 9pm on January 25 and 10pm the following day.
Investigators believe the crooks got into the address via an unlocked door and once inside they stole a black iPad 2, a white MacBook in a black case and a Dell laptop in a black bag.
A police spokesman said detectives were appealing for information and advising other householders in the area to take care by keeping doors and windows locked and secure at all times, particularly at night.
