Bus ads boosting business
ONE of Plymouth Citybus's new Citaro fleet has been transformed into an advertising vehicle for city training provider Academy of Training.
The design features larger-than-life pictures of present and past Academy learners, and also carries the company's new branding.
The bus was ceremonially handed over to Academy of Training's managing director Chris Jeffery by Citybus marketing manager Sylvia Bird as part of the celebrations for Academy's 25 years in business.
Chris said the images were absolutely stunning.
"We wanted to show real students, as we feel that will encourage others to come forward to take up training places", she said.
Sylvia said getting the design on to the bus had been a challenge.
"We did this one in an entirely different way and it has given our people some ideas for different designs in the future", she added.
The bus design and Academy's new branding was devised by marketing communications company PR Dogs, based in Horrabridge.
