THE new chief executive of the group bidding to buy the airport is a management consultant and "development financier".
David Keegan (pictured) now farms near Okehampton, but he held senior business positions and for the past three years he has been a non-executive director of a consultancy involved in activities including mechanical and electrical services, construction, property acquisition and business services.
From 2000 to 2009 he was vice president of construction management and professional services firm Nova-Corp.
He has also been chief executive, chairman and president of other firms and was executive programme director covering building service for insurance giant Aviva.
