Car fire in Honicknowle area of Plymouth

The Fire Service were called to reports of a vehicle on fire in Montacute Avenue, Honicknowle in the early hours of Sunday morning. One appliance from Crownhill fire station attended this incident.

Upon arrival crews confirmed the vehicle to be well alight on the public highway. Crews got to work using 2 hose reel jets, small tools and a thermal imaging camera. Shortly after, crews confirmed the fire to be extinguished and believe the cause was accidential.
