Car fire on Taunton Avenue in Whitleigh damages two vehicles
Firefighters were called to Taunton Avenue in Whitleigh just past midnight on Saturday night to deal with a car on fire.
Upon arrival, the fire crews found a private car ablaze on the road and proceeded to extinguish the fire using a hose reel jet. Once the fire was put out, the firefighters found that the car had been severely damaged throughout.

The fire also caused damage to an adjacent car through radiated heat.
