Car collides with lamp post on a Plymouth road knocking it out of the ground
FIREFIGHTERS and police were called to Woolwell early on Saturday morning after a car crashed into a lamp post.
Firefighters from Crownhill fire station and Camels Head were called to Cann View Road shortly after 8am.
A car had collided into a street lamp which had been knocked out of the ground.
Fire crews used small tools to make the vehicle safe.

The driver of the vehicle was checked over but had not suffered any injuries.

According to the article, the lamp post was already on the ground when the car hit it.
