A BONFIRE and fireworks event has been organised in Plympton.
Boringdon Park Golf Club is hosting the event on Saturday November 3 from 6pm.
The club is hoping to raise money for the 3rd Plympton Scout Group to maintain the Scout hut building and improve the kitchen and toilet facilities. The annual event was held at Woodford School but due to building works the group had to find a new venue.
Mike Davey, owner of Boringdon Park Golf Club, offered the Scout group the use of his venue this year.
Tickets cost £3 for adults, £2 for children and under 5s or anyone in Scout uniform is free. For more information call 01752 339113.
