Car hits front of house
A CAR demolished a garden wall and ploughed into the front of a house in a bizarre accident.
No one was badly hurt in the incident, which happened in Stoke yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters who were called to the scene said they believed a young girl was in the kitchen carving a pumpkin for Halloween when the crash happened.
"It must have been quite a bang," watch commander Jim Melville from Greenbank fire station said.

"The car demolished a garden wall throwing bricks everywhere. Then it smashed into the front door and almost caved in the porch."
An ambulance was called to the scene in Raynham Road, Stoke, Plymouth, and the male driver was treated at the scene.
Mr Melville said he cordoned off part of the house and advised the owners to call in a structural engineer.
Police said the vehicle was removed shortly after 3pm.
They were unable to give the make of the car or any details about the driver or the occupants of the house.
They said a breath test was negative.
