Car overturns on A386 near Tavistock

A MAN was treated by paramedics after the car he was travelling in overturned.

Police say a Silver Honda saloon car came to rest on its roof on the A386 in Tavistock at 11.15am yesterday.

The injured man was said to be "walking wounded" and was taken to Derriford Hospital to have a superficial head wound treated.

Firefighters from Tavistock cleared up a fuel spillage caused by the crash.

Police said the driver was alleged to be behind the wheel without permission, though the car was not stolen. He was street bailed to return to a police station.
