Care workers deserve decent pay
IN answer to the letter November 29 'Care Home Victim'.
My mum was in Lelant for some time, so I knew Tina Cox and was very sorry to hear of her fall from grace because she was a kind, caring and loving person, who felt so much for the people she was looking after.
Yes, she made a mistake, but she is paying back the money.
Everyone needs to have another chance.

The manager said it sent out a message, Yes it did, they all work so hard in all the care homes, for very little reward.
Isn't it about time they had a decent wage because they all deserve it.
Maybe this sort of thing will not happen again.
Good luck Tina, I hope you can get your life back together.

“totally agree with yr comment regarding poor wages for care workers, most are only on minimum wage , the owners of care homes should feel ashamed at the paltry amount they pay their staff, we all know after all that for a loved one to reside in a care home is not cheap!”
