THE following cases have been dealt with by Plymouth magistrates.

FELTON ALLEN, aged 44, of Clowance Street, Plymouth: two counts of assaulting women by beating them – 12-month community order under probation supervision, ordered to pay £100 costs and £100 compensation.

NICOLA GREENWOOD, aged 31, of Lowerside, Plymouth: assaulting a woman by beating, criminal damage to a window and breach of an Anti-Social Behaviour Order – 12-month community order under probation supervision with Female Offender Specified Activity Requirement, ordered to pay £50 compensation and £50 costs.

AMANDA HURLOW, aged 45, of North Road East, Plymouth: assaulting a constable in the execution of her duty – fined £70, ordered to pay £40 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

MICHAEL WESTWARD, aged 35, of Efford Walk, Plymouth: assaulting a woman by beating her – two-year community order under probation supervision with Building Better Relationships programme, ordered to pay £100 compensation, £60 victim surcharge and £30 costs.

STEVEN DYKE, aged 37, of Bulmer Road, Plymouth: theft of a television set worth £269 from Morrisons and breach of a conditional discharge – jailed for 16 weeks.

GEORGE HOCKING, aged 33,

of Barne Close, Plymouth: theft of a can of tuna from a petrol station – fined £70, ordered to pay £2 compensation and £20 victim surcharge.

RICKY PARKER, aged 26, of Embankment Road, Plymouth: theft of flowers worth £2 and threatening behaviour in breach of a previous suspended prison sentence – jailed for 16 weeks.

JAMIE TEBBENHAM, aged 23, of Barnfield Drive, Plymouth: possession of cocaine – fined £100, ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

KEVIN BALDWIN, aged 46, of Kenmare Drive, Plymouth: drink-driving – banned from driving for 20 months, fined £200 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.

AIDAN DANSIE, aged 21, of Leatfield Drive, Plymouth: drink-driving and failing to stop when requested by an officer – banned from driving for 20 months, fined £300, ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

JODIE OLIVER, aged 22, of Belle Vue Rise, Plymouth: drink-driving – banned from driving for 12 months, fined £110, ordered to pay £50 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

BARRY STARK, aged 44, of Roberts Road, Plymouth: drink-driving and failing to stop after an accident – banned from driving for 24 months, given a 12-month community order with 120 hours of unpaid work, ordered to pay £40 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

CARL JOHNS, aged 44, of Furse Park, Plymouth: threatening behaviour – fined £125, ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

EMMA REEVE, aged 40, of Ipswich Close, Whitleigh: possession of scissors in public without good reason or lawful authority and obstructing a constable in the execution of his duty – 12-month community order with Female Offender Specified Activity.

    “Maybe the chap who stole the flowers was getting them for one of the women who was beaten up, judge must be a joker, prison for flowers !!!

    Oh well, time to give the wife a slap, I think not.”

    “Stealing £2.00 worth of flowers...Jail. (Add in a little threatening behavior and a breach of stealing more flowers maybe)

    Two counts of assaulting woman by beating...Not Jail.
