JACQUELINE COOKE, aged 29, of Victoria Place, Plymouth: assaulting a man by beating him, theft of a bottle of cider, criminal damage to bottles of wine and failing to surrender to bail – 16-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months with Alcohol Treatment Requirement and ordered to pay £286 compensation.

SIMON CORBETT, aged 39, of Albert Road, Plymouth: assaulting a woman by beating her – 12-month community order with Drug Rehabilitation Requirement and ordered to pay costs of £85.

JAMIE DAVIES, aged 20, of Kiln Close, Plymouth: assaulting a man by beating and causing criminal damage to a wall – six-month community order with 18 hours at the senior attendance centre, ordered to pay £60 compensation and £60 victim surcharge.

MARK TIERNEY, aged 29, of Union Street, Plymouth: common assault on a man, threatening behaviour and causing criminal damage – jailed for 16 weeks.

GARY WILKINSON, aged 26, of Buckfast Close, Plymouth: assaulting a woman by beating and using violence to secure entry – 12-month community order with six-month Drug Rehabilitation Requirement and ordered to pay costs of £85.

PETER COTTON, aged 41, of James Street, Plymouth: two counts of handling stolen goods – 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, ordered to do 120 hours of unpaid work and pay £85 costs.

GARETH HUGHES, aged 34, of Burrow Hill, Plymouth: theft of clothing from a shop – jailed for eight weeks.

MICHAEL CAPELING, aged 25, of Devonport Road, Plymouth: possession of Valium and theft of a magazine and two ice creams – fined £100 and ordered to pay victim surcharge of £20.

BRYAN SELVESTER, aged 37, of Old Woodlands Road, Plymouth: two counts of driving while unfit through drugs, possession of tablets containing morphine, failing to provide a urine sample – jailed for five months and banned from driving for three years.

JASON BAILEY, aged 36, of Saxon Road, Tavistock: drink-driving – 12-month community order with 100 hours unpaid work, banned from driving for 24 months, ordered to pay costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £60.

ROYSTON BUTLER, aged 37, of Marlborough Street, Plymouth: drunk and disorderly – fined £60 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge

KEITH DALY, aged 48, of Walnut Gardens, Plymouth: two counts of indecent exposure – three-year community order with the Thames Valley sex offenders' programme and the Thinking Skills programme and ordered to pay £300 costs.

MARK FOSTER, aged 42, of Orchard Road, Plymouth: failure to provide a specimen of breath – 12-month community order with 80 hours unpaid work, ordered to pay victim surcharge of £65 and costs of £45.

SAMUEL GODFREY, aged 20, of The Royal Citadel, Plymouth: harassment of a woman – fined £400, ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs and £15 victim surcharge.

LEAH STRINGER, aged 21, of Lipson Road, Plymouth: attempted to avoid a railway fare – fined £45, ordered to pay £15 victim surcharge and £6.20 compensation.
