THE following cases have been dealt with by Plymouth magistrates.

DARREN HALL, aged 32, of Waterloo Street, Stoke: assaulting a constable in the execution of his duty – fined £110, ordered to pay £150 compensation, costs of £85 and £20 victim surcharge.

ANDREW PIMLOTT, aged 32, of Coombe Park Lane, Plymouth: assaulting an officer in the execution of his duty – jailed for eight weeks.

MITCHEL TAYLOR, aged 27, of Clarence Place, Plymouth: assaulting a man by beating him, threatening behaviour and causing criminal damage to tools – 12-month community order under probation supervision with a two-month curfew on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

GARETH ANDREW, aged 32, of Kings Tamerton Road, Plymouth: theft of power tools worth £2,300 and breach of a conditional discharge – jailed for 12 weeks and ordered to pay £1,300 compensation.

DANNY ARDIS, aged 25, of North Road West, Plymouth: theft of aftershave worth £49 from Debenhams and possession of cannabis in breach of a suspended prison sentence – jailed for 14 weeks.

KELLY COOPER, aged 20, of Harwell Court, Plymouth: drink-driving – banned from driving for 17 months, fined £170, ordered to pay £40 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

PETER GORDON SMITH, aged 83, of Hartwell Avenue, Plymouth: drink-driving – banned from driving for 12 months, fined £308, ordered to pay £85 costs and £32 costs.

META JO MAGUIRE, aged 40, of Budshead Road, Plymouth: possession of heroin – fined £70 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.

SHANA BATES, aged 24, of Hawking Gardens, Ernesettle: threatening behaviour – eight week curfew on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and ordered to pay £45 costs.

PAUL FRANKLIN, aged 46, of Gibbon Place, Torpoint: breach of an Anti-Social Behaviour Order by entering part of Plymouth city centre – fined £70 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.

KENNETH JAMES, aged 67, of Lancaster Gardens, Plymouth: three counts of dishonestly producing or furnishing a document with false details to obtain benefits – fined £450, ordered to pay £100 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

DAVID MAY, aged 31, of Poldhu Road, Liskeard: threatening, abusive or obscene language on the railway – fined £200, ordered to pay £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

DARREN PLUMMER, aged 33, of Mount Gould Road, Plymouth: failing to promptly notify a change of circumstances which would affect a benefit claim – fined £165, ordered to pay £200 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

SIMON ANDREW ROBINSON, aged 25, of Ringmore Way, Plymouth: burglary of a flat, drink-driving, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without insurance – 24-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, with Drug Rehabilitation Requirement and ordered to pay £85 costs.

JAN TRETHOWAN, aged 28, of Ayreville Road, Plymouth: driving while disqualified and without insurance and two counts of failing to surrender to custody – eight-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months with 200 hours unpaid work.
