THE following cases have been dealt with by Plymouth magistrates.

SCOTT BALL, aged 24, of St Maurice Road, Plymouth: assaulting a man by beating him – 12-month community order with 40 hours unpaid work, ordered to pay £75 compensation, £60 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

ANDREW GLAZSHER, aged 44, of Stuart Road, Plymouth: common assault of a man – 12-month community order with 150 hours unpaid work, ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge

MICHAEL BAGGALLAY, aged 30, of Wolseley Road, Plymouth: two counts of theft of red diesel, driving while disqualified, without insurance, without a test certificate and road tax – 12-month community order with 200 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £487 compensation.

GEMMA VANSTONE, aged 22, of Aylesbury Crescent, Plymouth: two counts of theft of clothing of an unknown value from shops – 12-month community order with 40 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge.

MICHAEL CLEWES, aged 23, of Lower Park Drive, Plymouth: drink-driving, driving without insurance and otherwise than in accordance with a licence – banned from driving for 20 months, fined £400, ordered to pay £85 costs and £40 victim surcharge.

BENJAMIN LUXTON, aged 20, of Langsford Road, Peter Tavy: drink-driving – banned from driving for 18 months, fined £250, ordered to pay £85 costs and £25 victim surcharge.

DAVID THORNING, aged 59, of Royal Navy Avenue, Plymouth: drink-driving – banned from driving for 12 months, fined £110, ordered to pay £50 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

JODIE WALKER, aged 19, of Savage Road, Plymouth: drunk and disorderly – fined £65, ordered to pay £50 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

ADAM ZALICK, aged 24, of Carnock Road, Plymouth: drunk and disorderly – fined £75, ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

TYLER ATTFIELD, aged 22, of Channel Park Avenue, Plymouth: criminal damage to a taxi window and breach of a conditional discharge – fined £150, ordered to pay £208 compensation, ordered to pay costs of £50 and victim surcharge of £20.

MICHAEL FITZGERALD, aged 28, of Chapel Street, Plymouth: threatening behaviour – fined £150, ordered to pay £50 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

SEREMAIA RALOKA, aged 35, of Dorchester Avenue, Plymouth: threatening behaviour – community order with curfew for that period on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge and £30 costs.

BRADLEY SANDISON, aged 54, of Torver Close, Plymouth: possession of a knife in public without good reason or lawful authority – 12-month community order with 120 hours unpaid work, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

MARTIN WALKER, aged 64, of Fore Street, Plymouth: threatening behaviour – fined £200, ordered to pay £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.
