THE following cases have been dealt with by Plymouth magistrates.

RYAN BERESFORD, aged 21, of Windsor Road, Plymouth: assaulting a constable in the execution of her duty and being drunk and disorderly – 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, with 100 hours unpaid work, ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

EMMA CAMERON, aged 30, of Queens Gate, Stoke: assaulting a man by beating him and criminal damage to a taxi window – 12-month community order under probation supervision with Female Offender Specified Activity Requirement, ordered to pay £245 compensation and £50 costs.

SEAN MCDERMOTT, aged 29, of Pinewood Drive, Plymouth: assaulting a woman by beating her – five-month prison sentence suspended for 24 months under probation supervision with the Building Better Relationships programme, ordered to pay costs of £300.

DANIEL STYLES, aged 28, of James Street, Plymouth: supplying cannabis to another man and possession of cannabis – 12-month community order with 60 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge.

GLEN HARDIMAN, aged 39, of Barne Close, Plymouth: drink-driving – banned from driving for 40 months, fined £280, ordered to pay £85 costs and £28 victim surcharge.

PAUL HOLMES, aged 57, of Copse Road, Plymouth: drink-driving – banned from driving for 36 months, fined £380, ordered to pay £85 costs and £38 victim surcharge.

SANDRA SHEARS, aged 53, of Wythburn Gardens, Plymouth: drink-driving – banned from driving for 20 months, fined £220, ordered to pay £85 costs and £22 victim surcharge.

MARK AUSTIN, aged 36, of Hawthorns, Saltash: driving while disqualified and without insurance in breach of a suspended prison sentence – jailed for 21 weeks, banned from driving for 51 months.

NATHAN BANTON, aged 18, of Tavy House, Plymouth: possession of a knife in public without good reason or lawful authority and breach of a conditional discharge – 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months with 70 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £80 victim surcharge.

ANDREW BINGHAM, aged 38, of Octagon Street, Plymouth: criminal damage to a door – 12-month community order with 120 hours unpaid work, ordered to pay £150 compensation and £60 victim surcharge.

ROSS CLOKE, aged 28, of Clarence Place, Plymouth: threatening behaviour – fined £70, ordered to pay £20 costs and £20 victim surcharge.

ANDREW DANIEL DAVIES, aged 46, of Trevithick Road, Plymouth: resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty in breach of two community orders and a conditional discharge – 12-month community order with Alcohol Treatment Requirement, ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

ASHLEY LEPAGE, aged 22, of Channel Park Avenue, Plymouth: breach of a restraining order – fined £110, ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.
