A CORPORTATE day has been held to celebrate business partnerships across the city.

The UCP Marjon event, held at Plymouth Albion, was to thank many of the University College's partners and key stakeholders.

The day was attended by representatives from a number of companies that have corporate membership at the sports centre including UTC Aerospace and Two Four.

The event was also attended by GB Diving Coach, Andy Banks, and Commonwealth Games, Gold and Silver medallist and Alumni of UCP Marjon, Katherine Endacott.

Stan Cinnamond, director of sport at UCP Marjon, said: "The event has brought together many organisations and people that we have close relationships or partnerships with.

"This is a great opportunity to thank them for all the help and support they have given us over the last 12 months and to ensure that these ties continue to evolve in the long term.

"Our ongoing relationship with Plymouth Albion has gone from strength to strength and I would like to thank Debbie Fisher, CEO, and Louise Uncles for all their support on the day."

UCP Marjon graduate James Creek gained employment at Plymouth Albion last year as their video analyst after a work experience placement during his degree.
