Chance to abseil down Drake’s Circus for charity
On Saturday, people parking or simply finding themselves on the top of Drake Circus car park, will have the option skipping the wait for an elevator and climb straight down the outside of the building.
The Plymouth branch of the Samaritans will be hosting a charity abseiling event throughout the day, starting around 10.30am.
For a minimum donation of £15, you will have the chance to run down the outside of the car park.
"There are a total of 100 places available for people interested in trying it. Many taking part are sponsored by co-workers or companies, and there are still open places left," Roger Hockley from the Plymouth branch of the Samaritans said.
