BOXERS and ballerinas joined forces for a charity 'Zumbat' event.

Organiser Pippa Waller said everyone enjoyed themselves.

"It went really well, beyond our expectations," she said. "It was fantastic.

"We raised just over £800 and there is more to come in from people who have pledged donations."

She added: "It was mainly people who do keep fit classes. We had a session of Zumba and a session of Bodycombat – 45 minutes of each – and we had a raffle.

"It wasn't too strenuous – it was just like a big party really. There was a lot of messing around and it was a lot of fun."
