FUNDRAISERS donating to Plymouth's charity of charities can see their cash double this Christmas.

The localgiving.com festive match fund will allow all cash raised for the Plymouth Drake Foundation to be added to pound for pound. The city-based charity supports a wide range of local organisations and groups providing grants of up to £1,500.

In partnership with the Devon Community Foundation, grants worth over £450,000 have been allocated to over 140 local causes so far.

A TRADITIONAL carol service is being held at the St Mary the Virgin in Laira.

The event starts at 7.30pm on Wednesday 21 December. It will be followed with refreshments.

There is no charge and everyone is welcome.
