City beauty queen through to semis of Miss England
A PLYMOUTH beauty queen is hoping to be crowned England's top model after making it to the semi-finals of a national competition.
Jenna Horgan, aged 22, was recently named as Miss Plymouth 2010, being presented with her sash and tiara by last year's Miss Cornwall and former Face of Plymouth winner Charlotte Holmes.

Jenna, who is in her final year of a marketing degree at the University of Plymouth, said she was amazed to have won the city heat of the modelling competition.
"It was an honour to win because the girls I was competing against were of such a high calibre – they were gorgeous and had done an awful lot of charity work," she said.
"The competition was very strong so I was extremely surprised but proud to have been chosen."
A hardworking volunteer, Jenna has given her time to a number of city-based organisations over the years, including Dame Hannah Rogers Trust.
She has also been presented with the Millennium Volunteers Award for more than 200 hours of voluntary work at Derriford Hospital.
The Hartley-based model will now take part in the Miss England semi-final on June 14 in the hope of being crowned winner and going on to take part in Miss World.

“Jenna has won a place in the Miss England semi finals, which is a beauty pageant, not a modeling competition.
The wording in the article is a bit confussing, saying that she might be crowned Englands Top Model, which is nothing to do with Miss England.
Good Luck Jenna x”
