A SOUTH West security firm has been contracted to keep the paparazzi at bay during reality star Jade Goody's funeral on Saturday.

Eliminate Risk was approached by a contact of PR guru Max Clifford. Its crowd control experts will escort Ms Goody's cortege from the housing estate where she grew up in Bermondsey, South London to St John's Church in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, where the funeral is to be held.

The firm, established in Torquay and relocating to Plymouth's Forrester Business Park this month, is to supply 15 and 20 security personnel for the funeral.

They will also escort close family members home from the service and private burial and keep crowds a respectful distance from Ms Goody's family home during the evening.

“People cannot think for one minute Jade is on par with princess Diana, NO chance.
    Diana was one in amillion.
I really do feel for Jade's 2 sons, as they will have to grow up without their mother. I hope that her partner has put together a special photo album for them, with photo's of all the good times that they had with their mother. also I hope he has kept 2 special / favorite things which belonged to Jade to give to the boys when they are older.”

    “Harry,

You seem to disagree with an awful lot. The reason she has been able to save many lives is because of her fame - howevere she got that fame she has done some good! Can you say that - I doubt it.
A young mother has died and been able to highlight a very very serious deisease better than any government campaign.

Sometimes you need to take a step back from your computer an really think before you type.

I know this will not happen but just had to say it, can tell by your uncaring and sometimes angry rants. I do not think your debating anything just have nothing better tod o!”

“While I have every sympathy for the family of Jade, and I wish them all the best for the future.Cancer has being going on for a long, long time.My mother was 45yrs old my brother 36yrs old.He left a son who never knew him.We had to carry on with life,it wasn't "Splashed" all over the papers and TV,simply because we were just Joe public.I have a younger sister who has battled breast cancer, but once again, not all over the papers. When she was on telly there wasn't a good word said about her,but now, she's everyone's "hero" so to speak.”

“So Harry , since when was fame and fortune something that was reserved for the upper class highly educated elite members of society? This world is full of people who end up in places they never planned to be in - are you judging them too? Why don't you get down off your imaginary pedestal and show some compassion for other people from whatever walk of life and start to see the good in them. Jade was a lovely young woman and an excellent mother taken in the prime of her life. She has taken care of her sons in the best way she could as would any other caring mother and has left the legacy of life to all the other young women who will now survive cervical cancer as a result of her story. Only a person with a perfect history is in a position to judge and in my opinion that person does not exist.”

“This is one story that really gets to me. She was 27 and she dies of cancer, yes it happens everyday but she was able to highlight it, as did wendy (eastenders) although it wasn't shown till after her death but that wasn't the plan as they believed she was able to fight it. Jade was as she described it "like marmite" love her or hate her. If she had hidden away you would have scrutinized her for that also! The poor women has died she did no harm. Rest in peace jade........and how do you spell scrutinized?”

“Tracy - The thrust of my comment was nothing to do with her cancer, I was careful not to mention that. I was talking about the moronic "Celebrity" culture that pervades every section of the media. Big Brother and programmes like it, where crass narcissistic oafs are elevated to fame are a scourge on our culture. As for the accusations of saying things to get a reaction - If I don't agree with something I say so, that's what debate is about.”
