LOVE was in the air on Valentine's Day from people all over the city.

Residents of Wisteria House Care Home in Stoke celebrated Valentine's Day with the cook preparing a pink, heart-shaped cake while staff and residents created decorations.

The group read romantic poems and enjoyed quizzes themed around Valentine's Day, along with dancing and face painting and watching a black and white film, with residents toasting the day with a Bucks Fizz.

In the City Centre, Toby Gorniak declared his undying love for his wife with a banner.
