HOLOCAUST Memorial Day will be recognised with a number of events across the city.

Solly Irving, a Jewish survivor, is giving a talk at Crownhill Methodist church hall on Wednesday at 7pm.

On Friday January 25, schools and colleges will show their responses to the day in an exhibition which will include art, poetry, music and dance, at Plymouth University's Roland Levinsky Building, from 10am-4pm.

The Lord Mayor, Cllr Michael Wright, will attend a more formal period of reflection at the exhibition between 2pm and 3pm where the young people will provide words and music.
