This is Cornwall

THIS is the first in a new series of clocks of Plymouth Past and Present, in which all the current timepieces have been photographed by Mike Yeats.

The basic qualification is that these clocks must be generally viewable by the public and at least a foot in diameter.

This is Number 1, then: The Waterstone's Booksellers clock is the re-branded Western Morning News/The Herald clock on the facade of the former Leicester Harmsworth House building, opened in December 1938, in what was Frankfort Street and is now New George Street.
